Winning over millennial customers is important to the survival of almost every business. With 75.4 million millennials in the United States alone, the health care industry is no different.
A recent survey conducted by the Health Industry Distributors Association suggests that equipment plays a major role in millennial satisfaction.
According to a recent article in Modern Healthcare, Millennials are paying close attention to office appearance, cost, customer service and the quality of products used during a visit.
“Providers might be surprised to learn that millennials take particular notice when equipment such as exam tables or products such as gowns are low-quality or outdated,” the article stated. “Twenty-seven percent of millennials reported that a provider failed to meet their expectations based on the quality of products used during the exam and 24% commented on the age of products.”
