Engineered Hinges

Two leaf hinges, three leaf hinges, four bar hinges, six bar hinges and more are right in our wheelhouse. Spring rotational assist, friction hinge control, detents and other custom features can be engineered into both simple and complex hinge mechanisms.

Continuous and Specialty Hinges

ER Wagner designs, engineers and manufactures a wide array of continuous and specialty hinges. Our continuous & specialty hinges are usually produced on a make-to-order basis for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), typically as a component to a larger assembly or subassembly.
Customizable features include leaf configuration, hinge length, perforating, forming, notching, countersinking, spring loading, assembly, welding, degreasing, deburring, polishing, plating and painting. Available materials include a wide variety of cold-rolled steel, hot-rolled steel, stainless, aluminum, brass, pre-plated and pre-painted metals.

Custom Continuous & Specialty Hinges

Our focus is providing custom continuous hinges and specialty hinges designed to your specifications. High-precision press equipment and finely-crafted tooling built in-house is utilized to manufacture products of the highest quality.

Standard Continuous Hinges

Plain continuous hinges have long been utilized because of their superior qualities as movable fasteners. Continuous hinges provide uniform strength throughout their entire length, smooth pivotal action and easy accurate alignment. The continuous hinge category also includes Stop Continuous Hinge and Pre-Plated Continuous Hinge.

Weld Guide Brand Continuous Hinges

This continuous hinge is designed for use where adjoining parts are butted against the knuckle of the hinge. Weld Guide Brand makes possible fast and accurate alignment, reduces costs in the spot welding department, eliminates scraping of paint from the hinge knuckle prevents friction and binding, and makes a product better-working and more attractive.

These marine hinges are made from the highest quality corrosion-resistant materials in a broad range of attractive and durable finishes.

Machine and Wrapped Tubes

ER Wagner is committed to quality at every step of the manufacturing process. That’s why we have developed extensive design engineering, testing, measurement, quality management and certification practices to ensure you get a superior, long-lasting product that provides optimum performance at the best value.

Shear and Machine Cut Tubes

Tube cutting capabilities range from high-speed scrapless to precision machined cut-offs. Machine cut tubes include ID/OD chamfering and turning on both ends and also facing with surface finishes less than Rz 10. End facing can include custom end profiles.

Machine cut tubes provide maximum exactness when it comes to parallelism and perpendicularity.

Precision Wrapped Brushings

Roundness is the key to performance when it comes to the bushings used in motor housings, solenoid housings and body mount tubes. We can hold tolerances to +/- 0.1mm ensuring optimal performance. Virtually gap-less seam types include butt seams, welded seams and locking seams. If those don’t fit your needs we can design a custom seam based on your specifications.

Bushings can be flanged, edge treated and chamfered to ensure ease of insertion and proper fit.
