An industrial company on Milwaukee’s north side plans to spend $5 million buying new equipment.
E.R. Wagner Manufacturing Co. on Tuesday received approval for a $2 million loan from Milwaukee Economic Development Corp., a nonprofit business lender affiliated with the City of Milwaukee, to help finance the project. The primary lender is BMO Harris Bank.
E.R. Wagner, which makes hinges, casters and other industrial equipment, is based at 4611 N. 32nd St., and also operates a facility in Brookfield, Ill. It has 135 full-time employees and one part-time employee at the Milwaukee facility, and plans to add eight full-time employees within two years, according to MEDC.
