Project Scope
To develop a lower cost alternative to cut tube HRT.
Problem / Challenge
Must incorporate all product features into a single manufacturing process.
Solution
Manufacture the HRT’s using a wrapped process. This replaced conventional tubing which saved up to 30% of material used. It uses flat steels formed with interlocking seams that meet automotive standards when integrated into welded assemblies. Now able to incorporate windows, slots, and other features for molding, mounting, and assembly with no costly secondary operations. We offer them in a variety of shapes including round, oval, D-shaped, square and multi-side geometrics.

Working with their latest 2023 model of EV Hummer, ER Wagner is excited to provide their one-of-a-kind mid-gate hinges to support closeouts. These hinges are designed to support closeouts that cover both the trey and hinge from any debris.
Utilized in the 60/40 rear seat applications, ER Wagner's hinge design incorporates 5 springs, 4, stops, and 3 individual leaves.
