"Controlling and managing costs is more important than ever. But without quality, innovation, and service, low cost means nothing."
BRAD GADOR - President, E.R. Wagner Engineered Products Division
It's a whole new world out there ... it seems like the entire world is competing for the same business. But at E.R. Wagner Engineered Products, we continuously seek to grow our business, as is evidenced by what we've accomplished in more than 105 years.
Keeping costs down is important. And we're leading the way in lean practices, by closely examining everything from faster order entry to shorter set-up times. We're also using different tools in pursuit of lean practices - such as value stream mapping, which allows us to identify potential waste throughout our organization.
But what continues to separate us from others in our industry is innovation. We can make hinges that open slowly, that open quickly, that fit into small spaces, that rise or rotate as they open or close - and just about anything you can think of. When it comes to working with customers to develop the most cost-efficient product for their application, no other company comes close.
At our Stocker Hinges Business Unit, innovation goes by the name of "secondary customization." That is, starting with an existing product and modifying it to meet precise customer needs. This allows our customers to purchase "custom" hinges in smaller quantities, more frequently, and with less lead time than they can from our competitors.
When it comes to hinges, E.R. Wagner provides a world of innovative, cost-effective solutions.
